My Dream Wedding!

This week Christina and I decided to blog about our dream weddings!

Since I am surrounded by weddings, it just so happens I have given the subject a little bit of thought. Since I was a little girl, I have always wanted a big, fancy wedding, so here is my idea of the perfect wedding!

Enjoy!!

Even though I am not the tallest, I am determined to have a big ballgown. In general a ballgown will shorten your silhouette and can be a little overpowering if you are on the short side, so I guess I will just have to wear heals! I love heals so, that idea is fine with me!

This is a fabulous dress by Maggie Sottero, called Windsor. I
think it's perfectly amazing!

I love tea roses... so my bouquet just needs to be a big bunch of them! They have a very romantic, soft look, and they fit right in with the look I want the wedding to have.

Everything will shimmer... Especially the vases the flowers are in!

For the reception, I want to have a sparkly soiree.

Chandeliers, candelabras, and crystal stemware will provide a posh, polished look for the table decor.

Instead of individual centerpieces, clusters of roses, sweet pea, and orchids in soft shades of peach, blush, and pink will cascade down the runner. The lower centerpieces will also allow quests to be able to converse without having to look around a tall centerpiece.

These pictures show the details for the table settings. The decor keeps with the crystal, glittering theme. Aren't the napkin rings fabulous?!

The cake needs to make a statement of its own. This light pink fondant with little sugar pearls has the perfect look. Flowers in crystal vases and crystal votive candles will surround the cake and add the the lush look.

The invitations have a formal script decorated with delicate butterflies. The cream tones also keep with the color theme. They have a wonderful, fairytale look to them.

The most important thing for the flower girl is that she looks adorable! With this cute little dress, flats, and bouquet she certainly will. My little cousin would just love it as much as I do!

For the bridesmaid dresses, I chose a Bill Levkoff dress in a satin. It is a very sophisticated look and the ruching will be very flattering for different body types.

Well if you liked the bridal gown, bridesmaid dress, or flower girl dress you can come to our store to get them!! We carry all three designers and we can help you find the looks you need for your wedding.

Remember your wedding can be anything you want! The options are endless, so go with what you have always dreamed of, whether it is your childhood fairy tail wedding or an informal garden wedding.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my idea of a perfect wedding. Thank you for reading, and come back later this week and see what Christina has in mind!!
